Hello Customer!
Just to be sure a second degre burn exposes the deeper skin layers called the dermis as the epidermis is destroyed. If this is the case then the main concern is infection. Do NOT apply ice but cold water rinse is okay. Do NOT break open blisters as these can protect from infection. Gently wash with an antiseptic and then cover with an aloe based cream and sterile dry gauze and leave alone for 24 hours. To remove rinse with cold water if it is stuck to the area. Apple antibiotic cream after checking for increased redness or discharge which are signs of infection. If it appears to be infected see your dr. Continue the above until a layer of tissue has formed over the burned area. Continue to keep it loosely covered and dry. Second degree burns can take 10 days to 3 weeks to heal.
Good Luck
Hope this helps!
