Customer Question
1999 Mazda 626...

1999 Mazda 626 the fuse in the fuse able link under the hood keeps blowing as soon as you turn the key on.

Mechanic's Assistant: Is the car in "Park" or "Neutral?" Do you know if your car has a "wheel lock" feature?

Park and no I don't know

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your 626 yourself? What have you tried so far?

Yes and I have tried changing that fuse 3 times

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I was driving down highway and the engine just went off that's it

Is this an inline fuse link or a fuse inside the fuse box?

Ask Your Own Mazda Question
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
Its a link the pink one. And every time I turn the key on it pops the fuse.
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
HI Moose I got it started, a bad alternator won't keep popping the fuse right? But a penny in the cigarette lighter would right?
Mazda Mechanic: Chris (aka- Moose), Technician replied 3 months ago

I have scoured the wire diagrams and do not see any inline fuse links. I only see fuses inside the fuse box. Can you send me a picture?
