My left side auto window control clicks and does not stop automatically
JA: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
Customer: The noise comes from the plastic gear chain trying to continue after reaching full extention. It started 4 days ago, i hit a pothole while raisning the window
JA: What is the model/year of your Mazda?
Customer: I know it's can of late and everyone needs home time. We could continue tomorrow
JA: What year is your Mazda?
Customer: 2012
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just diagnosed; brother in law says their is a sequince put in correct operation
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

You may have to reset the mechanism.

Hold window button down till you hear a click from window mech

Hold window button up till you hear a click from window mech

You might have to do this a couple of times sounds like this might be your problem
