Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are many things that can turn on the traction control or stability control lights, anything that will prevent proper system operation. The warning light may or may not be related to the driveability problem, but an engine related concern does have the ability to turn on a traction control warning in some cases.

Do you know what P, C and U codes are currently setting in the PCM and ABS module?
