Mazda Repair Questions? Ask Mechanics for Answers ASAP
Hi Im David, thanks for visiting the site. is the check engine light on? and where the heck did you read about a light across a connector? you need to plug a scan tool into the DLC connector under the dash to read codes. the first thing I want you to do is to pull the idle air control valve off and clean it out with brake parts cleaner extremely well. the put it back on, start the vehicle and see if it clears up the rough idle.
heres what it looks like
do you still need assistance?
checking in to see how its going
Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose), my normal schedule online is around lunch and after dinner till early morning.
Step one is to hook up a scan tool and get the codes. Next is to make sure your up to date on all maintenance. Can you report back on those results?
Thanks for using Just Answer, and rating me so I am compensated, Chris
