timing belt slipped, bent a couple valves. replaced them and trying to lap the valves and having a hect of a time at it
JA: How many miles are on the timing belt? Have you ever had to change it before?
Customer: only 100, changed it because water pump went bad
JA: What is the model/year of your Mazda?
Customer: tensioner spring was bad
JA: What year is your Mazda?
Customer: belt jumped a few teeth
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?

Customer: trying to hold the valve stem to lap it it and having a hard time with it

When I do this job I tend to use an old hand drill like this

as the valve stem is hard enough not to be damaged by tightening up the drill chuck on it
