Initally started with both turn signals lighting up solid and the door locks and remote not working. I unplugged the BCM and inspected. It appears fine. Upon reinstall, the door locks worked and then only the right turn signal would light up. I can get the turn signal to turn off by locking then unlocking the car either remote or door panel button. Once the light goes off, about another hour later it comes back on. Everything appears to function correctly when the car is running.

Additional questions: I wanted to buy a used BCM that matches mine from eBay
1. Can I plug and play the other BCM?
2. Do I have to take it to the dealer to get 'reprogrammed' or have the remote (switch blade key) re-synchronized?
Expert:  david craig replied 11 months ago.

Hi Im David, the BCM will have to be programmed to your vin.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
What all is involved with programming? How much does the dealer charge?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
What all does the 'programming' do?

Are you sure this is a BCM issue?
Expert:  david craig replied 11 months ago.

have you had the vehicles modules interrogated by a diagnostic scan tool?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
No.

well then there is no way to confirm if the bcm is bad or if its the wiring to it. you will need to have it scanned for fault codes.
