My 2007 Mazda 3 hatchback's "AT" light has gone on twice

Customer Question

My 2007 Mazda 3 hatchback's "AT" light has gone on twice within the past week while on the freeway going about 70mph. It sticks in 3rd and I had to pull off, turn the car off and continue. The AT light goes off but the check engine light has remained on.What could this be?? I had my transmission fluid changed within the last 6 months

1- i would change fluid again.

2- an intermittent shifting solenoid getting stuck most likely

3- but Diagnostic scan with a Mazda scanner or equivalent will show you the fault code , the check engine light came on and stayed since it detected the transmission failure event .

Please let me know

Thank You
