Mazda 3: 2009 mazda 3 2.0l . problem timing chain cover broke

2009 mazda 3 2.0l . problem timing chain cover broke replaced everything but, when not all the way put back together engine was turned over without harmonic balancer. i'm having problems with timing. My question is the cams and bolt pin do not line up at the same time do i need to take apart everything and undo timing chain? Is this vvt problem? Why no key way? What is the most easy way to solve this problem?

The Crankshaft pulley lock bolt has to be installed.Open file for instructions.

Cam shafts do not line up with crankshaft, is it possible the timing chain skipped, when at tdc noththing number 1 cylinder nothing lines up.

You are going to have to start over.Take the chain off and follow the instructions I sent you very carefully.
