Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.

The battery light comes on when the system is seeing a problem with the charging voltage usually due to a failing alternator. In order to determine if that is the case you are going to need to start first with having the charging system tested. Normal charging voltage should be right at 14 volts at the battery with the engine running. Let start with checking this first and we can work from there.
