Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

They're asking if the water pump is driven by the intake or exhaust cam.

The water pump is on the flywheel side of the engine rather than the front as in most vehicles. The pump is driven by a belt, the belt driven by a camshaft. You'll need to look at the pulley driving the water pump belt and see if it's connected to an intake or exhaust cam. The intake cams are closest to the intake, the exhaust cam is closer to the exhaust manifold.
