I am trying to avoid the time/hassle of removing the intake manifold/hoses/etc...
Just to replace the PCV valve. Is it possible to get at it from underneath the 2.3 ltr
2004 Mazda 3 engine or is there no possible work around?

Hello Charles,

I'm Brandon - Mazda tech.

There is no easy way or work around to replace the PCV. You have to remove the manifold in order for you to remove the PCV.
