i open an question is; i have a 07 mazda cx7 that is not starting, i've already found out that it doesn't have spark, and the tcs light is flashing and the check engine light remains on

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it's the mzr motor
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

DO you have any way of checking it for codes?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
using a mac tools e80 it pulls nothing
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

OK. Can you check the RPM while cranking through the scan tool and see if it shows an RPM?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the rpms on the dash is nothing, the obd2 reader doesn't do that
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

Have you checked the fuses?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i've look in the engine bay fuse block and nothing came up bad. this all started after i saw that the valve cover gasket was leaking and i check the couple bolts to see if they're tight. it ran before i did that.
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

I would start by checking all the fuses with either a multimeter set on OHMS or a fuse tester.. you cant always see a bad one.. check them all inside and out.

Have you checked to make sure you didnt disturb any wires (especially a ground bolted to the engine near the valve cover) when you tightened the bolts?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
checked everything and all the ground and fuses are good.
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

Check and see if you have a good ground at one of the coils.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
All the wires check out, ground, supply, sensors ohm'd out good,
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

Im gonna go ahead and opt out here. It sounds like you believe you have already checked everything and are unwilling to do any further testing so I cant be of any help to you.
