Trying to start my 2009 Mazda. Immobilized system is armed. How do I unlock it?

I am sorry that you have not been helped yet. I just came online and saw your question

If the theft light flashes or is on while cranking, a fault has be found in the PATS system.

Turn the ignition on. Disconnect the battery. Clean cables if necessary. With the ignition on, reconnect the battery. Try and start the car 1 time with each key. Then try to start the car 5 times with each key.

If the car still does not start, you either have faulty keys or a fault in the PATS system. You will need to bring it to a Mazda dealer and have them program the keys. They will also need to check for any fault codes stored in the PATS module.
