I have a 1995 Mazda B 2300 pickup 2.3 liter two wheel drive and it chugs really bad when you accelerate from 3rd to 4th what might be the problems. Changed fuel filter and still have issues.

It might be low on fuel pressure so you will need to check the fuel pressure coming from the pump.

It has to be at least 35 psi. You check it by connecting a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail where there is a service valve (looks like a tire valve)
