2002 mazda b3000. Code p0125 cylinder 1&5 misfire.

2002 mazda b3000. Code p0125 cylinder 1,5 misfire. It was idleing very rough so i changed spark plugs, wires, pcv, idle control. Running better but still idles rough. code has not come back.  ford dealer said couldnt find anything. They said it was not idleing right.Cold idle is 1500 rpm.

The P0125 code is for the coolant temperature sensor. If the sensor is reading incorrect it will affect the injector pulse and give you a rough idle.

that code has not come back. I did put in a thermostat it was missing.

The code is for the sensor not reading correctly. If the code has not come back do you still have any problems?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

My initial problem was rough idle. The code has not been a problem for a week i was just giving you info on truck.

Have you checked the injectors with a leak down test? You may want to add some fuel injector cleaner to your gas and see if that corrects the problem.Do you have access to a scan tool that has a data stream?

Thermostat was replaced it was running cold before.

Did you try the injector cleaner? You will need to either drive for a lot of mile's or give it about 3 days to notice any improvement.
