tracker40 :

Hello, In am Randall. the alternator on this vehicle can be tricky to replace. It has to go out the bottom which means the exhaust pipe as well as the front axle has to be removed. I dont mind sending what info is offered but will take some time. patience and a couple special tools.Click HERE

Customer : send me in detail and diagrams of what needs to be done and what special tools do I need?
tracker40 :

Axle info Click HERE you will have to have a ball joint fork to break the lower ball joint and tie rod end loose. A large socket for the axle. Forget the size but thinking 36 MM. the exhaust pipe i cant sens info on as you just remove the bolts and lower it

Customer : the whole front axle has to come out?
tracker40 :

the outer shaft, rubber boot to rubber boot. this allows room for it to drop down through bottom. #5 in first pic sent

tracker40 :

tire wheel off, remove the axle nut, the unbolt lower ball joint,. Use balljoint fork to seperate the ball joint, Pull out on spindle at same time push axle through spindle. The axle will the flop around, It prys off the inside.

Customer : i do not have a balljoint fork is there anything else I could use?
tracker40 :

yes,, remove the balljoint nut. hit real hard on the spindle portion real close to where balljoint goes through spindle. at some point it will op loose. if not? fork is the only tool

tracker40 :

meant "pop loose"

Customer : Are these the only diagrams you have, I have never done anything like this before and this is all greek to me?
tracker40 :

Yes.. I will opt out. Its a big job and if never done, very difficult to explain. Maybe another expert has more. One should be along shortly. Pls don't respond to me as post will stay locked to me. Sorry could not help. its just not an easy job at all
