Mazda reliability dropping over the years
Mazda is known for cars that are fun to drive, but Mazda reliability has taken a dive in recent years. In 2017 it dropped from 6th on Consumer Report’s annual reliability report to 12th. That means owners may well have issues to resolve fairly regularly.
