The moon's gravity is 16.7%...

The moon's gravity is 16.7% that of Earth's gravity, which I expect you to know in order to compute the moon's gravity in m/s2. Let's suppose that something happens to a satellite in orbit around the moon at a distance of 10,000 kilometers above the surface of the moon, causing the satellite to begin to free fall to the surface of the moon. The radius of the moon is 1737 kilometers. Think about the fact that even though gravity acts like is it coming from the center of the moon, the satellite will strike the surface which is 1737 km above the center.Since kinetic energy = potential energy for an object in gravitational field, compute the velocity of the satellite when is collides with the moon's surface.
