For TOM 3190:

Add: (5b^4-3b^3+3b^2+12b-7) plus (b^5+7b^3+5b^2-3b+4) plus (-8b^4+b^2-6b-8)?

Multiply: (b+1/4)(b+1/3)?

Simplify by factoring: square root 75a^2b..this is under the square root sign..

Use rational exponent to simplify: index of 4 square root x^8...x^8 is under the square root sign with the 4 right above it..I believe it is called an index...

Simplify bytaking roots of the numerator/denominator: Index of 3 square root 216x^8/y^3?

Factor completely: 7x^4-42x^3+14x^2?

Multiply: (-4z)^2(3z^3)^2?

Solve: v^2-4v-32=0?

Hello again and thanks for requesting me,

1.

b^5 - 3b^4 + 4b^3 + 9b^2 + 3b + 1

2.

b² + 7/12 b + 1/12

3.

5a√(3b)

4.

= x^(8/4) = x²

5.

6x² ³√(x²) / y (so 6x² ³√(x²) is the numerator and y the denominator)

6.

7x²(x-(3+√7))(x-(3-√7))

7.

144z^8

8.

(v-8)(v+4) = 0

v = 8 or v = -4

Best regards,

Tom

I am a little confused on number 2 and 6. Not sure how I am suppose to write the answer..with number 2 do you mean b^2+7 over 12 or do you mean b^2 + 7/12 over b+1/12? Or do you mean (b^2 + 7/12)(b+1/12)?

On number 6 how is this written? Should it be 7x^2(x-(3+square root 7)(x-3(3-square root 7) should all of this be in parenthesis or is it over each other? Not sure which way to put it...

Math Tutor or Teacher: ExcelSpecialist,

Number 2 is:

graphic

Number 6 is a multiplication of 3 terms:

7x²

x - (3+√7)

x - (3-√7)

I hope that clarifies the answers?

so with number 6 I am suppose to write that just like you have it? Is 7x^2 even suppose to be in the answer? write it like" 7x^2(x-(3+square root7)(x-(3-square root7)
Customer reply replied 8 years ago
Is that correct
Math Tutor or Teacher: ExcelSpecialist,

Sorry for the late answer, the correct answer is indeed 7x^2(x-(3+square root7))(x-(3-square root7)) (You forgot 2 brackets)
