I have a navionics chip in a c129w and can not get the sounding displayed despite turning them on on the cartography

Hi John,

If the sounding is not showing then there may be a problem with the transducer or the wiring to it.

First, check all cable connections are good, and check for any damage in the cabling.

If that doesn't work, try hooking up a different chartplotter to your transducer to test it (you could borrow one from a friend)

If it still doesn't work then it is likely that the transducer has failed, and it will need to be replaced.
