Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question. I think you should double-check whether the polarity (+ lead vs. - lead) of the power supply is correct.If it was connected up backward at any time... the unit may have been blown out. If there is no evidence of its being connected to reversed polarity power, then I would say, it is defective from the supplier, and should be promptly returned to them as such, for exchange for an equivalent, but working, device (or, for a refund.)
