Hello, my name is***** will assist you. What unit are you working with?Is it linked to any others? What transducers do you have on the motor?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Helix 7 si built in transducer not linked
Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.
Where did you install the transducer for the 7? The one that came in the box.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No the transducer is built into the fortrex trolling motor
Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.
OK, The US2 transducer is only a 83/200 kHz transducer. It will only work for the traditional 2D images on the depth finder. To get the side image, you will need to run the external transducer for the 7 and mount it to the trolling motor as well. Then you will have both the SI and regular images from the unit with just the included transducer. There is no need to use the US2 transducer inside the Fortrex.Does this make sense?
