I used a Bad Elf GPS to record a track on a friends fishing

Customer Question

I used a Bad Elf GPS to record a track on a friends fishing boat. It can be downloaded to my Apple Macbook Air in either a GPX file or a KML file.
Is it possible to add this track to my Lowrance HDS 7 (first gen)?

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question. Press PAGES.Then find the UTILITIES menu. Then findFiles, then press ENT. Then select the Memory Card you have the GPX file on.Press ENT.Select the file on the disk, that you wish to import.Press MENU.Select Import.Press ENT.Select OK, press ENT. This (or something close to it) might work on your Lowrance, though it is older. At any rate, an Import operation is what you are looking for.
