I have a a Simrad NSS 8 with 4G broadband radar installed.

Customer Question

I have a a Simrad NSS 8 with 4G broadband radar installed. It is however not opening up and I can't turn it to 'transmit' or 'standby'. It remains showing 'no radar' on the radar screen. Is there a switch that the boat commissioning has missed or any other suggestions.
Thanks, Gary

Hi Gary,

There is no switch that needs to be turned on.

There may be a fault with your radar dome or radar cable.

Check the cable connections and try using a different dome (make sure it is compatible if you are setting the NSS 8 up for the first time).
