In outline, I would recommend that you
1: try a prolonged reset of the display, a 'reset reset', of at least several hours' duration, and then if that doesn't improve the matter,
2: disconnect the ST60 from the sonar transponder, brush off the connection on both sides with a clean dry brush, then wipe the connection down with a clean dry rag cloth until the metal shines, then re-connect firmly, and try the ST60 again.
