I have had Tacktick working well for 5 years. Last year the knot metter started reading 00. Depth and Wind work fine. Removed/renewed all electrical conections. Can't make it work. What do I do ?

Hi there,
the paddlewheel may be faulty.
You can test it using an ohmmeter. If you do not get any fluctuation in ohms when spinning the wheel across the two wires then it would indicate the transducer is bad and needs to be replaced.
