Customer: I have a Lowrance Endura Out & Back that is just over a year old. Recently I have been having powering issues. It seems like the unit works alright, but when I shut it off it does not allow me to restart. I can get restarted after some time has passed (sometimes hours). Also, when this occurs my computer does not turn it on or read it when attached to the computer. Additionally, the unit has shut off on its own and I was not able to restart. Please advise.

As far as my Enudura Out & Back it is very frustrating since this instrument has been dependable up until this point. I use the unit for hikes in my area logging trails and waypoints. In the last couple of weeks I found I can start the unit getting running and it appears to be fine. If I shut it down it does not restart. This is with batteries, power from my truck, or connected to my computer. Over the past year this has never been an issue. It also has shut down on its own without even flashing red to show low power. It seems if I let it sit overnight it does restart. I have set it back to default. I am not sure of the different functions of power saving and if this is contributing in any way. Also, does the hand held GPS have any other battery within it. Please advise since now the weather (hopefully) is getting better I tend to increase my walks and go to more unfamiliar areas. If you need more information let me know since this situation is very frustrating since Lowrance only gives minimal information when purchased.
