Customer Question

Hi there. I have a powerpoint that I converted into a pdf. I've sent it to many people, no one is able to open it.
JA: When could you last open your PowerPoint?
Customer: I can open it! On my computer. But when I send it, I go into my "sent mail" - then try to open it - and the following message pops up from Adobe reader:
JA: Did you recently update your software or Operating System (OS)?
Customer: "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired" Yes I updated it earlier today. The problem persists.
JA: Anything else you want the Software Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Try this method. Open the PowerPoint file. Click on the File menu and select Print. Now, at the very bottom, choose PDF and select Save As PDF. Then save it as PDF and email that attachment. See this picture -->

Does it work?

Please let me know if that didn't work, so I will continue to help you until we fix the problem

When I email it to another email address, not possible to open it

That is strange. Try this. Export or Save as to PDF.

Then put that file to the desktop. Then right click on it and choose Compress. This will give you the compressed ZIP folder. Send it and does it allow you to open it?
