i have two iPad, one is an old one and until 2 weeks ago was working well. However, it now states that it is locked and I need my Apple ID and password ***** unlock it. Oh. I cannot find the password ***** I've obviously put in a safe place. Is there any way I can get it unlocked (deactivated) other than using the original addy and password ***** was activated with. It said before announcing it was locked that it became so because someone had used the facility to find my phone, which was not true. At least I'd not done so.
