Technician's Assistant: When did you last change your password ***** Apple ID?

Think it was a few months ago...not sure.

Technician's Assistant: Did you try resetting through Apple's online account reset tool?

Yes...and it said the messagae was sent to my iPhone....but it never came.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?

I want to enter the NEW password ***** all three devices....can I do that all at one time?

Ok, to reset the Apple ID password, go to https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid

and enter your information, then choose one of the recovery methods and follow the instructions that appear.

If you aren't getting the recovery message for any reason then you will need to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID.

Pete--the problem is not resolved. an occasional message comes in to my cell phone. and to my iMac. I am tired of this mess and will maybe continue trying to solve this mess tomorrow. Can I reach you then?
