This IMAC opens with a message that I should call Apple Support because of some malware detected. I do not trust this message and I would prefer the Geek Squad to correct. I have recently renewed my Tech Support account. What should I do?
JA: What Operating System (OS) are you running on your iMac?
Customer: Version 10.13.3 MacOS High Sierra
JA: How long has this been going on with your iMac? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Started yesterday. I have MacKeeper installed and removed several hundred files this morning.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: How do I eliminate this message?

MacKeeper is a scam as well. Which browser does the message appears on?

1. Press Command + Option + Escape simultaneously. This will open the Force Quit Applications window.

2. Select Safari

3. Click the button that says Force Quit. This will forcefully end your browser program.

4. Then while holding the shift key, open Safari again (click on it’s icon from the dock), and when it opens up reset it completely.
