iphone 7 plus locked and disabled request recovery

Technician's Assistant: When did you last change your password ***** Apple ID?

I don't re pinmember. I was trying to change my 4 digit pin and it locked and disabled after 6 tries for security reasons. I have been without a phone for 8 days. I requested recovery from Apple and I don't know how to fix this. Case # *****
