Mini iPad is not recharging.

Technician's Assistant: What Operating System (OS) are you running on your iPad?

The version before 11. I checked this morning and I was up to date. Should I update and see if that makes a difference?

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your iPad? What have you tried so far?

Only today. I have checked the adapter and charge cord.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?

For the last few days I have received a message that what I am doing - usually kindle and email may not be supported.

No as I have no additional accessories.

Okay. There are two possibilities: either your charging cable is bad or the battery is bad. If you know someone who has another cable you could ask them to borrow it to check if that is the cause. Otherwise you will need to bring it to your nearest Apple retail store to have it checked.

No need to worry about the remote access. I cannot fix this issue by connecting. Again, either your charging cable is bad or the battery is bad.
