My MacBook Pro worked beautifully until last night when I was asked to download upper apps for 'security' This morning everything was over It worked I sent mails. Then I closed it down as I was leaving for the day .And now it has a big problem I can switch it on, i give my password, it starts 'charging' I can see the progress but suddenly at '2 thirds' the screen becomes white , then black ,,,,and it starts all over again after the beautiful Apple music tone,,After about 8 to 10 tries I resort to calling you using the computer of my friend , having called Apple Assistance that told me so.
