I loaded an uppdate...

I loaded an uppdate, forgot my password, apple phoned a new one, now my ipad is locked and cant do anything

Technician's Assistant: When did you last change your password ***** Apple ID?

I cant remember when, except when they phoned 3 days ago, the ipad keeps asking for my passcode but no keyboard to do it

Technician's Assistant: Did you try resetting through Apple's online account reset tool?

I dont know what that is

very much so, I am not impressed that I have to pay for getting my ipad fixed, how can you connect to my ipad , NOT my computor?

I dont have a lot of time as I have an egagement at 5:30 and have to have dinner before that.I have been trying to have this dealt with since this morning and it is not almost 5pm.
Perhaps we should deal with this tomorrow if it cannot be done now.
