I’m a Mac user and am at the stage where I’m looking at multiple back up options as my iMac is getting old and has a lot of information on it. At the moment I’ve got 2 Carbon Copy Clones, another separate drive with a copy paste of the big important stuff that I have to update myself (tell me if this is a waste) and am also in the process of setting up time machine. My question relates primarily to cloud technologies.Id like to do an cloud based backup but have some concerns about security. I’ve seen in the media stories about security breaches hence I’ve shied away. Am I being paranoid? Should I just put photos, videos and music in the cloud as they are the most valuable and have the least security identify theft risk?Does my back up strategy sound ok?

What Customers are Saying:

Hi John, Thank you for your expertise and, more important, for your kindness because they make me, almost, look forward to my next computer problem. After the next problem comes, I'll be delighted to correspond again with you. I'm told that I excel at programing. But system administration has never been one of my talents. So it's great to have an expert to rely on when the computer decides to stump me. God bless, Bill
