Hey my iTunes on my macbook quit responding after updating my device.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update iTunes?

I don't know when for sure. Could've been awhile. But now it will be hard for me to tell since it won't open.

The iTunes window never actually opens. Then it just continues to say "Application not responding".

OK have you tried to reinstall the application after backing up the library, this would be the first step.
