I want to use Word or any other word processing app. II used to have it on my Mac but cannot find it since having some updates installed with tech support recently.

When did Office/Word first go missing from your Mac?

I suppose it was when my computer was upgraded to 10.13.2 with the help of tech support. I haven't tried since then to use Microsoft Word. Today was my first attempt. What are my choices for fixing it and what will the cost be?

My bank called me to verify a $5 charge for asking the question. To have a JustAnswer tech support fix my problem I understood would be another $35 which I approved. I did not approve an additional $39. I now have to go join a dinner party. May I resume dealing with this issue with you at 8:30 pm, EST?
