but it won’t let me open any backups once I am ib
Mac Support Specialist: Ashik, Mac Technician replied 6 months ago

That is strange. Are you able to open the backup disk in Finder and manually open the files inside it ?

Ask Your Own Mac Question
Customer reply replied 6 months ago
When I double click on the “sparse disk image bundle” it blinks for a sec and seems to mount, because only after that does it show up as an option to open in time machine.
Customer reply replied 6 months ago
It doesn’t open into a normal file tree
Mac Support Specialist: Ashik, Mac Technician replied 6 months ago

Are you sure the drive is working ? Not sure if it is corrupted

What Customers are Saying:

Hi John, Thank you for your expertise and, more important, for your kindness because they make me, almost, look forward to my next computer problem. After the next problem comes, I'll be delighted to correspond again with you. I'm told that I excel at programing. But system administration has never been one of my talents. So it's great to have an expert to rely on when the computer decides to stump me. God bless, Bill
