I can’t see my mail on my MacBook Air...

Usually on my phone or iPad, but I needed to send an attachement so i was using my MacBook, which I don’t really know how to use and now i can see anything... and now i can’t see anything

I was reviewing emails this morning. When I tried to send an email it said I couldn’t because of a server issue or something like that. So I tried troubleshooting myself and now i can’t even see anything. There is no window that appears when I open the email using the little stamp at the bottom

There is a dot below the stamp at the bottom of the computer that indicates that Mail is open, but I can’t see a window

Can you CTRL CLICK the mail icon and choose Force Quit?

Can you go to Utilities -> Activitiy Monitor -> and then Force Quit mail app.

There is an easy way too, we can drop Mail app and use Thunderbird (reconfigure the account) and get things up and running. Do you want to do that?

You can re-configure old accounts on Thunderbird, thunderbird is just an app to handle existing mail.

It says that I cannot send messages because my account doesn;t have a preferred outgoing mail server. This is the problem I started with two hours ago...
