I've spoken to Apple Support, but to no avail.

Technician's Assistant: What kind of Apple device do you have? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

My two email accounts, one gmail and one comcast, come in to both emails boxes. It wasn't always like that, just the last 3 or 4 months. I have a MAC and an ipad mini.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your Mac? What have you tried so far?

I haven't tried anything.......am not very saavy.

For my gmail emails go to my gmail inbox and my comcast emails go to my comcase inbox.

"email forwarding" is what this is called (kind of like call forwarding on phones)

but in this case...both email address are pointed to each other...to leave a "copy" on each others box (hence receiving on both...for both)

I usually go to firefox and type in comcast.net or gmail.com. I sometimes use the MAIL icon. In both cases I get the same results.

OK...well this is a weird one

There is a decent chance I can log in and figure out how to fix it (settings)...BUT it doesn't explain why it happened in the first place...which means it probably can and will happen again

If you want me to proceed...let me know...but it will be a phone call and a remote session (and more money $120)

OR

I can opt out and let another Expert try
