I have the default...

I have the default set for Google and it goes to byway.com instead. I try to get into my online banking and I get caught in a loop. I give my user ID and password, over and over again. I have taken my computer to the bank and they had it set on Google. I could access my account temporarily for a week or more and now I have run into the same problem.

Technician's Assistant: Have you contacted anyone about your account?

Yes, I took my computer to the bank and one of their Reps. ran into the same problem, but did set the default to Google and I was able to access my account.

Technician's Assistant: What's the model and Operating System (OS) of your device?

I have a Mac Pro

Technician's Assistant: When did you purchase your Apple device? What troubleshooting have you tried?

I have had it for 7 or 8 years.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?

I'm able to get to other sights on my computer. It's the bank that always gives me trouble.

Just to recap your notes, your computer's internet is causing your webpages to go to byway.com instead of the intended webpages you are trying to go to? It only does this when you are trying to access your bank's webpage?
