If I try to download updates I get this message "your apple ID has been disabled". How do I fix this?

Technician's Assistant: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you running?

Operating system on my phone?

Technician's Assistant: Have you installed any updates recently?

No, I've gotten this message for about 3 months. Been trying to fix it through Apple and changing my password. Nothing has worked.

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

Changing password...tech support over the phone with Apple. Last time was earlier this week. The tech told me this was an iTunes Account problem.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?

There was an iTunes charge a couple of months ago on my credit card that I disputed. I've never bought a song from iTunes.

Same message when I tried to buy more I cloud storage. "Your Apple ID has been disabled". Suggests I contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/supporr/itunes/ww/.
