Keep getting error 0xE8000015..trying to enable ipad

Technician's Assistant: What Operating System (OS) are you running on your ipad?

Not sure, it is fairly new. it was given to me by my daughter

Technician's Assistant: When did you purchase your ipad? What troubleshooting have you tried?

I updated itunes on computer then tried to turn ipad off and restart by holding home button and plugging in to ipad from computer

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?

Is this going to cost me money

Have you ever got to the screen the shows the iTunes logo and cable on the iPad? That is Recovery Mode.

Hold Power and Home until it restarts, but keep holding them for another minute until it shows that screen.

I can get to that screen, then start doing the update and restore and then the error comes up half way thru the update/restore

What version of iTunes do you have installed?
What type of computer is it? Mac or PC?

I finally figured it out, by myself, no thanks to just answer. So, as far as I am concerned, this is a waste of money and time.
