Hi there and welcome

Can you please hold the home and power buttons on the iPad for about 10 seconds until you see the apple logo then release.

Let the iPad restart and tell me if you can then sign into it please

Do you remember the correct passcode?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I will get rid of the ipad, thanks
Expert:  Richard replied 1 month ago.

I would not do that... it is fixable.

Do you remember the correct passcode?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
no, that's why I can not open the ipad
Expert:  Richard replied 1 month ago.

No problem, then we need to reset it, it will remove all your data and return it to new, but you cannot avoid this, but it will then work.

To do this

Connect the iPad to the computer and open itunes

Hold the power and home button down until you see

"iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode..."

Click Restore iPad, ignore any locked messages, just let this complete and it should now work

Let me know the results please

Thank you

no go. I am finished with this device
Expert:  Richard replied 1 month ago.

I will connect to your computer and do it for you at no extra cost as there is no reason to spend $300+ when you do not need to for a new device
