HP Laptop with Windows 7. I am trying update itunes to12.6.2. A message comes back saying invalid signature. I have the problem with another HP Laptop also with windows 10.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your laptop, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: HP G70 Laptop with Windows 7
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: I can not because of message Saying "invalid signature".
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: No not - that crazy about such
JA: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have another HP Laptop with the same problem.

This can happen if you are trying to update through iTunes.

Instead go directly to the download page and download the latest installer

When you are asked to Save or Run, choose Save.

Then once it is downloaded try running it, you shouldn't see that error again.
