I can open Safari but then it closes. I click on other applications but the color wheel just bounces & nothing will open.
JA: What's the model and Operating System (OS) of your device?
Customer: OS 10.10.5
JA: When did you purchase your Apple device? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I purchased it in 2012 & have only tried rebooting
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of

a. First Press Command + Option + Escape simultaneously. This will open the Force Quit Applications window.
b. Select Safari
c. Click the button that says Force Quit. This will forcefully end your browser program.
d. Then while holding the shift key, open Safari by clicking on it’s icon from the dock, and when it opens up reset it completely by clicking Safari -> Reset Safari

I have tried Chrome and Firefox. Both just bounce but never open. Firefox did give me an message stating "A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time"

I also cannot delete any files. I get this error
