I can't seem to login to apple account, so I requested to reset my password, but I am also currently without a phone so I can't get my verification code

Customer: Yes, but I don't know how to get it. I thought my apple ID was my gmail account, but nothing has been sent. said there was an email to icloud
or something, but i don't know how to get that

Customer: I am also not on my mac
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I don't know anything about computers. It just keeps telling me to enter the varification number on my phone, but my phone is broken
