I have an old iPhone 5
, my husband has been using the phone just for a phone that I can call him on in case of an emergency. We took the password ***** of it. Today, I tried to unlock it and it wants a password, I tried the old one, but it does not recognize it and I have been locked out of the phone. It said to connect to iTunes, so I did this, but iTunes says "To allow access, please respond on your iPhone
" how do I respond??
JA: When did you last reset your username and password?
Customer: maybe two to three months ago - we actually went into settings and made it so that my husband did not have to enter a password?
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Just plugging it into itunes
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I don't have a Mac
